District started somewhere in 2004, in a small town 'Diest' to be more precise.
Being remembered of the good old
skate-days at a local skate-park, and
seeing how new kids are now living
theirs: There suddenly was a strong urge
to support that scene for current and
future generations. And not just for this
local scene, but for every other district
where there was one like it, hence the
name District Skateboards.
It didn't take long, or the first boards
were already made and rolling under-
neat our feet! The news about District
began spreading fast, and a solid team
was formed with skaters from all over
the country. Before we knew it, District
was becoming true to it's philosophy:
supporting local skate-scenes with
affordable quality, and it's still doing
that up to this day.
